WHAT MAKES DANOLYTE PRODUCTS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CLEANING PRODUCTS?

Danolyte produces a hypochlorous acid (HOCl) formula that cleans, sanitizes and disinfects surfaces from households to hospitals with no harsh chemicals or toxic fumes. Our nature derived ingredients are eco-friendly, sustainable, and scientifically proven to be equally if not more effective than synthetic chemicals.

IS YOUR PRODUCT EFFECTIVE AGAINST COVD-19?

Danolyte Disinfectant has demonstrated effectiveness against viruses similar to COVID-19 on hard, nonporous surfaces. Therefore, Danolytecan be used against COVID-19 when applied in accordance with the directions. Danolyte is N-listed by the EPA to be an effective disinfectant to use against SARS-CoV-2.

WHAT IS A HOSPITAL LEVEL DISINFECTANT?

Hospital Level disinfectants are put through a rigorous testing process to prove their efficacy and measure toxicity as part of the EPA registration process. EPA registers different types of disinfectants with the highest-Level being hospital. Hospital must be supported by AOAC Use Dilution or AOAC Germicidal Spray efficacy testing against Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella Cholerasuis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa hides behind biofilm and is difficult to eliminate. Killing this bacterium is required for “Hospital Level Disinfectant”.

IS DANOLYTE REGISTERED BY THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA)?

Yes, Danolyte Disinfectant is EPA registered (EPA Reg Number 91582-1) as a hospital level Disinfectant and Sanitizer. Our product is also included on the EPA’s List N, which lists the products registered for use against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).

    WHAT IS A SANITIZER?

A substance, or mixture of substances, intended to reduce the number of microorganisms on inanimate surfaces or in water or air.

ARE DANOLYTE PRODUCTS SAFE TO USE AROUND PETS AND CHILDREN?

Danolyte disinfectant + sanitizer is made with three simple ingredients derived from nature, which are free from harsh chemicals and toxic fumes. Our products are powerful enough to disinfect hospitals yet gentle enough to disinfect children’s toys. When using Danolyte around kids, pets, and or plants always follow the directions on our label to ensure optimal safety and usage.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF USING HOCl OVER TRADITIONAL CLEANERS?

Most of the pathogens, particularly water born, when used over time, develop resistance to disinfectants such as sodium hypochlorite (bleach). In comparison, anolyte application, as a water disinfectant, used on a daily basis over the course of ten years demonstrated that no resistance was developed over time to pathogenic microorganisms.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN A CLEANER AND A DISINFECTANT

Cleaners are not registered with the EPA and cannot make public health claims on their label such as killing germs or having any anti-microbial action.

WHAT TYPES OF SURFACES CAN DANOLYTE BE USED ON?

Danolyte can be used on any hard surface that needs to be cleaned and disinfected! Our products work great on tables, countertops, furniture, food contact surfaces, computers, mobile devices, windows, walls, high end finishes, and more! Danolyte is alcohol free, with no harsh chemicals or harsh fumes, and won’t cause any irritation to skin.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN DISINFECTING, SANITIZING AND CLEANING?

Disinfecting uses chemicals (disinfectants) to kill germs on surfaces and objects. You usually need to leave the disinfectant on the surfaces and objects for a certain period of time to kill the germs. Disinfecting does not necessarily clean dirty surfaces or remove germs.

Sanitizing could be done by either cleaning, disinfecting, or both. Sanitizing means that you are lowering the number of germs to a safe level. What is considered a safe level depends on public health standards or requirements at a workplace, school, etc. For example, there are sanitizing procedures for restaurants and other facilities that prepare food. What you do to sanitize will vary, depending on your needs.

Cleaning removes dirt, dust, crumbs, and germs from surfaces or objects. Cleaning may not necessarily kill the germs. But since you removed some of them, there are fewer germs that could spread infection to you.

WHICH SURFACES CAN I USE THIS PRODUCT ON?

Danolyte Disinfectant can be used on almost any surface: Tables, desks, cabinets, kitchen equipment, electronic surfaces, chairs, changing tables, high end finishes, fabrics, plush materials, toys, book covers, chew toys, clothing, towels, diapers, PPE Masks and MORE!

    WHAT IS HOCl?

Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) is a naturally occurring molecule found in the human body which plays an integral part in immune response (Inside the body). Scientists have replicated this compound by running an electrical charge through a proprietary combination of purified salt and water. HOCl kills dangerous microorganisms as an antimicrobial solution making it equally as effective against bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

    HOW DOES HOCl WORK?

Hypochlorous acid is nature’s oldest disinfectant, being found in every human body while playing an integral part in immune response. HOCl breaks down the cellsthat are creating an infection by destroying the cell membrane and its DNA, thus preventing its reproduction or growth process.HOCl also known as anolyte water is produced by electrolyzing salt water in an anode chamber of an electrolyte cell. The solution contains over 99.4% water with the remaining solution being chloride salts and hypochlorous acid

    DO YOUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN FRAGRANCES?

Our solution is odorless while proven to be highly effective at deodorizing air and surfaces. Danolyte does not contain any fragrances although it has a slight chlorine smell upon application which immediately dissipates after dispensing.

IS DANOLYTE CERTIFIED FOR ORGANIC USE?

Yes,Danolyte Disinfectant + Sanitizer is OMRI listed and is certified for organic use.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DISINFECTANT AND A CLEANER?

All-purpose Cleaners are not registered with the EPA as a result they cannot make public health claims on their label such as anti-microbial action, effective against Covid-19, and/or killing germs. Danolyte is a Disinfectant + sanitizer that can be used for All-purpose cleaning in accordance with the directions on our label.

WITH SO MANY DISINFECTANTS + SANITIZERS ON THE MARKET WHY CHOOSE DANOLYTE?

Danolyte uses a proprietary generating solution which produces a nature derived disinfectant + sanitizer called Hypochlorous acid. Although you may see other HOCl products on the market not all disinfectants are created equally. Most companies are new due to the pandemic with minimal track records or stabilized products ultimately selling ineffective solutions or harsh synthetic chemicals. With over 25 years of history Danolyte is here to stay; many competitors have tried to replicate our patented technology and solution but are unable to produce a stabilized hypochlorous acid similar to our hospital level, EPAN-listed solution. Danolyte is scientifically proven and substantiated by the most credible organizations globally which is why our POWERFUL HOCl products have more accreditations than most chemicals on the market. Also, if you consider the many synthetic chemicals available with alarming safety warnings these products are solving one problem by creating another. Do you want these chemicals around your family members, pets, employees, students, patients, and friends? Danolyte disinfectant + sanitizer provides an eco-friendly and safe solution that is trusted by doctors and moms alike which allows you to disinfectant, sanitize, and clean worry free.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF DANOLYTE DISINFECTANT AND WHERE DO I STORE IT?

Danolyte is a nature derived disinfectant + sanitizer which uses zero carcinogenic preservatives or fragrances. Our 500ppm hospital level products are best used within 3 months of production (always check batch date on the bottle).  When diluting Danolyte to 200ppm for a powerful all-purpose cleaner our solution has a 6-month shelf life with a slow monthly reduction of ppm free available chlorine. We recommend storing all of our products in a temperature-controlled location not exceeding 32°C/ 89.6°F without direct sunlight.

ARE THERE ANY SURFACES THAT I CANNOT USE HOCl ON?

Over time, HOCl can be tough on certain metals such as aluminum and untreated steel. To avoid slight corrosion or discoloration, we advise wiping these surfaces after applying Danolyte. When using our disinfectant + sanitizer, please refer to the directions on the label to ensure optimal use against all listed pathogens.

CAN I DISINFECT AND SANITIZE AT THE SAME TIME?

With Danolyte, you can disinfect and sanitize at the same time! All of our products are one step disinfectants + sanitizers which effectively remove 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. Please note for heavily soiled areas EPA recommends pre-cleaning prior to disinfecting and sanitizing a surface! Always follow the directions on the Danolyte label for optimal usage of our products and applications.

CAN DANOLYTE BE USED IN ELECTROSTATIC SPRAYERS?

Yes, Danolyte can be used in all Electrostatic sprayers, which charge the antimicrobial liquid as it passes through the nozzle.  The positively charged antimicrobial droplets are attracted to negatively charged environmental surfaces allowing for improved coverage on hard, non-porous environmental surfaces.
